One of the best ways to impress a date can be cooking for them, whether you are a good cook or not.  When you are Dating it is easy to spend a lot of money on your date taking them out to restaurants to eat, which, don’t get me wrong is nice, however the impression can be much greater if you take some time out to prepare and cook a meal for your date.

Cooking a meal for your date really shows that you are trying to impress them, and are prepared to possibly make a fool of yourself in the process.  Cooking a meal for your date also gives you a natural conversation piece as you can talk about how you cooked the meal, what you’re both like at cooking, what you both like to eat at home.  When you are eating the meal, you are maybe more likely to be relaxed as you will not have busy waiters buzzing around you, and uncomfortable formal surroundings - the more relaxed you are, the more confident you will be which will allow you to be yourself better.

So if you are going to cook a meal for a date, research recipes that cannot go too wrong - there is  no point giving yourself added pressure, stress, and possible disaster buy cooking a cheese souffle when you could be making a nice salad.  In fact, salads are great for a starter course as you really can’t mess a salad up!  For mains, make something that you can make earlier in the day or the night before, and just have to pop in the oven to cook - maybe a fish pie.  For desert, possibly just some nice fruits which an inventive homemade ice-cream, which again is so easy you can’t go wrong.

Let me know how you get on!
