Austrian Chocolate Balls

INGREDIENTS
3 squares chocolate
3 oz margarine
8 oz sugar
1 egg
1 egg yolk
½ tsp vanilla
10 oz flour
4 oz nuts, chopped
¼ tsp vanilla
8 oz confectioners sugar
2 tbs milk
METHOD
1. Melt the chocolate and margarine in a large saucepan.
2. When melted, remove the chocolate mixture from the heat and stir in the sugar, egg yolk and vanilla.
3. Mix well to make an emulsion and then add the flour and nuts.
4. Stir the flour and nuts into the mixture well.
5. Shape the mixture into equally sized balls.
6. Place the balls on a cookie sheet.
7. Bake at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.
8. Melt a square of chocolate and some margarine.
9. Remove mixture from the heat and add the remaining ingredients.
10. Blend the ingredients together and dip the cookies into the mix.
11. Allow to dry and then serve or store at a cool temperature.
