Cooking up a Storm

Cooking good food is easy

Healthy cinema food

These days the only food you can buy at cinemas is over-priced, full of calories, and pretty bland.  Popcorn is covered in salt or sugar, the nachos are always stale, and eating a 400g bag of Maltessers is not going to be good for your waistline.  So here are my top healthy foods to take to the cinema.

  • Carrot sticks and hummous - chop carrots into fat finger sized sticks, and take a pot of hummous.  Dip the carrots in the hummous and enjoy.
  • Rice cakes - healthy, crunchy, and a great alternative to popcorn.
  • Fruit - apples, grapes, satsumas, peaches etc all work great at the cinema.
