If its too hot in the kitchen, get air conditioning!

Something that puts people off cooking at home in the summer is the heat generated by the stove or oven in the cooking process. This is something that I have found recently and have resorted to making a lot of salads and cold soups that do not require me to switch the oven on or fire up the stove.
My kitchen in my flat is fairly small you see, and when it gets warm in the summer the window is not that effective in getting rid of any extra heat generated by cooking. This is quite annoying as I do love cooking, especially slow-cooked dishes that require having the oven on for around 3-4 hours a time, but getting hot and sweaty at home after finishing work is not exactly relaxing. So this has led me to do some research on getting air conditioning in my kitchen which will put the love back into my cooking.
If you have ever been in a professional restaurant kitchen then you will of course noticed that they have huge, buzzing air conditioners installed which keep the place at just a bearable temperature, but of course a kitchen like that is likely to have at least 4-6 gas stoves and ovens going at once, so I figured what I need for a domestic kitchen will be a lot simpler and smaller.
The best way of doing this is going to be placing the indoor unit above my stove, normally where some people have a cooker extraction hood. This will allow for me to have good access to the unit while I am in my kitchen, but will be discreet enough not to overpower the look and style of the room. The outdoor unit will sit on the other side of the wall which there is plenty of room.
I was recommended an Air Conditioning Installation company whose website is very informative and helped me make the right choice of air conditioning units for my kitchen. Now that the air con is installed I have resumed cooking my full range of dishes, and has made the kitchen the coolest place in the flat, even when I’m cooking a full blown Sunday roast dinner!
