Cooking up a Storm

Cooking good food is easy

Keep track of your calories using Daily Plate

Posted on | June 2, 2008 |

Daily Plate is a website which allows you to keep a daily record of your calories eaten, fluid intake, and calories burnt by exercise. The site will work out how many calories you should be eating if you would like to lose your desired ammount of weight.

Each time you eat something, you add it to you diary - this is easy thanks to the Daily Plate database having thousands of foods and drinks to choose from, so as long as you know what brand of food it what, or how much you ate etc, you should be able to enter it to your food diary without having to manually enter the information.

Everytime you exercise, you enter what you did and for how long, and Daily Plate will work out how many calories you burnt.

Daily Plate will then work out how many calories you could have eaten even to stay on goal, or how many calories you have eaten over your goal.

Basically, Daily Plate is great if you are looking to control your diet, lose weight, or put on weight.  I have barely explained any of the features here and suggest you go give it a try - after all, it is free!
