Prawn stir fry is tasty and good for you

One of the healthiest and most satisfying hot meals you can knock up in minutes at home is a nice prawn stir fry.
You can buy readily mixed stir fry salads with nice, fresh, crispy bits of veg to provide plenty of vitamins and great taste.
Prepare some boiled rice in one pan whilst heating your stir fry veg and a pack of fresh prawns in a wok. When the rice is done, toss it into the wok and mix everything together. A little soy sauce is a welcome addition, bringing a bit more flavour and colour.
Once everything’s piping hot and fully intermingled, your dish is ready to serve. Plenty of protein, plenty of veg and filling rice make this dish a great addition to your healthy regime.
Cut down on wasted calories in the form of staple carbohydrates

It’s relatively easy to cut some of the carbs out of your diet if you feel like you’re eating too many. Things like bread, pasta and rice are central to most people’s diets, but if you don’t get a lot of exercise then they aren’t necessarily doing you much good.
You can cut down by removing them from your main meal in the day. Instead of having your meat and salad or veg in sandwiches or with pasta, simply make salads or pot meals to reduce your reliance on carbs.
Instead of cutting them out entirely you could just reduce the amount of pasta, rice and bread you use. Add extra meat and veg to rice and pasta dishes to fill you up instead or go for open sandwiches instead of full sandwiches to half your intake of bread.
Replacing red meat for a healthier lifestyle

If you fancy cutting down on red meat, then it’s actually exceptionally easy to do. If you consider some of your favourite red meat dishes, it becomes apparent that replacements are available to trade in for beef and lamb.
It is possible to find turkey mince, chicken burgers, bean burgers and so on for some of the more popular ways of eating red meat. However, you’ll often find that vegetarian meat substitute options like Quorn and Linda McCartney prove even better because they retain some of the texture you are after.
The only guise you’ll struggle to replicate is a full-on steak. However, if you start to think of steak as a special treat rather than as something for every week then you’ll be able to cut down successfully. Chicken and fish are good forms of protein for standard meals during the week.

A cupful of grated cheese
To make the sauce
2 table spoons of English mustard
1 tablespoon of dark sugar
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
A dash of lemon juice
100ml of top quality tomato sauce
